Your Real Beauty

Kamakshi

Why try to be an attractive oyster when you can be the precious pearl inside it!”

Beauty is the purest feeling of the soul. Your beauty matters more than your prettiness.

Philosophers have not agreed on whether beauty is subjective or objective (big surprise). The ancient greats -- Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, and Plotinus -- all agreed that beauty was primarily objective and thus, beautiful things really are beautiful regardless of what one or another individual may think or feel (Sartwell, 2016).

Concept of Beauty
The quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurably exalts the mind or spirit.

Why do we Love Beauty?
You want it, too: brain scan studies reveal that the sight of an attractive product can trigger the part of the motor cerebellum that governs hand movement. Instinctively, we reach out for attractive things; beauty literally moves us.

What is External Beauty?
Human nature includes a desire to be attractive and historically, much of the fine arts are depictions of human beauty.

Leonardo da Vinci was just one of the Renaissance artists who subscribed to this idea of perfection. His famous Vitruvian Man is actually an example of human proportions.
Body proportions, foot size, facial attractiveness, eyes, facial colour and wrinkles, dressing up.. and many more as the list seems to be endless.

The triennial is divided into seven sections illuminating seven kinds of modern beauty, echoing perhaps the seven archetypal stories some critics identify in literature. The Cooper Hewitt's categories: Extravagant, Transgressive, Emergent, Transformative, Ethereal, Intricate and Elemental.

Much time, money and emotional energy are spent in improving our appearance to reach a goal of beauty. People feel better about themselves when they think they are attractive to others.

What is Inner Beauty?
Inner beauty refers to the personality of a person including his/her mind and character. Whereas outer beauty simply refers to the looks of a person. It can easily be faked and changed through makeup, dressing, surgery, etc.

But it takes a whole lot of effort and a true heart to maintain your inner beauty in this modern age.

Beautiful people just donot happen. Mirror reflects your outer beauty. Behaviour reflects your inner beauty. Outer beauty is inner beauty made visible and it manifests itself in the light that flows in our eyes.

Beauty is not about what brand of clothes you wear; *it’s about you carry yourselves.

Beauty isn’t about the matching earrings or expensive bracelets, it is always about carrying the smile and a whole lot of confidence on your face.

Outer Beauty makes a person insecure and uncertain but inner beauty makes a person strong and makes him/her feel invincible. Beauty is about simplicity, elegance and grace.

Outer beauty is transient, it fades with time and so does the looks but your soul, knowledge and heart is something that will stay.
External beauty is cool to admire, but when worshipped it eclipses internal shine.

As we deepen in our understanding, the arbitrary divisions between inner and outer disappear. *The essence of life, the beauty and grandeur of life, is its wholeness.

Outer beauty is a gift. Inner beauty is an accomplishment. Internal beauty is eternal!
What makes you different makes you beautiful!

Always remember that your eyes, smile and knowledge can be your biggest strengths. Also, that there are two kinds of beauty: one of the soul and the other of the body.

That of the soul displays its radiance in intelligence, in chastity, in good conduct, in generosity, and in good breeding. Admittedly, all those qualities may exist in an ugly person. Beauty is the best possible version of yourself, inside and out.
