Do not take yourself for granted. You have to recognize that you are an individual and a special individual. If you do not value yourself then no one else will ever do.
Feeling special means to understand that you are an individual who posses certain unique qualities which no one has in this entire world. You appreciate your strengths and you respect your weaknesses, after all you are a human being.
When you treat yourself as special you will raise your standards to respect yourself. Your own acknowledgement to yourself will carry certain dignity.
