Quiet Your Mind

What are you thinking? Notice and see where all your thoughts have taken you in last 30 mins. It would have taken you through series of some memories or some imaginations, all linked in some way. Linkage can be emotional or very factual. Did you think all these intentionally? Or just the 1st thought was intentional and rest all were self driven?

An unsettled mind can go out of your own control. You mind sometimes can trouble you more than your circumstances. A noisy and disturbed mind cannot think clearly. It has influence of many negative things. At that point it can only produce more thoughts which are of similar nature.

Intervene consciously when you observe such patterns. Get involved in something to quiet your mind first. Some activity which takes all your attention and does not allow you to think. Make yourself busy and get engrossed. If not finding anything then immediately breadth deeply and try meditating.

You can observe how your mind settles down from a stormy wind to a soothing breeze. Now you can think clearly and in a right state to any decisions.

Quiet your mind and enjoy the blissfulness!
