Do you spend time with yourself? Just with yourself? How do you feel after spending time with yourself? If it is not ending with good thoughts and good feeling then the process your are doing is wrong.
Whenever you take some time off for yourself from a busy day, it takes some time for all thoughts to settle down. Initially, all issues, emotionally charged discussions and events will take all your attention. You should not get lost in those. You must ask all those thoughts to calm down. These thoughts must be handled either by ignoring or by attending them. Else they will always grab your attention.
After few minutes you must be in a calm state either by taking deep breaths or by listening music or by doing some walk , whatever way you feel good. During this time bring out those beautiful thoughts which creates you and think something you love doing. When you spend those few mins with happiness and fulfillment, you will get rejuvenated.
When you feel best of yourself, that is the time to come out and get busy with your regular schedule. "Me Time" is very important to keep yourself fit. At least one "Me Time" is must in a day for everyone. If you are stressed or going to through tough time, do it twice or thrice.
You are important. If you are fine, you can make things happen. Take care of yourself first. Find your "Me Time".
