Forgive Others , Forgive Yourself

How much do you get hurt thinking about your past pains? For every pain there must be a story where the reason is someone else or it is your mistake.

So there is fault of someone which you are not able to reconcile with. Every time your remember that pain, you re-live that experience of pain and the fading memory become a fresh memory. Then comes the cause and the frustration of someone else's or your mistakes take over the mind. Result is anger, frustration and negative thoughts.

When you get angry on someone else, nothing happens to that person. Rather your own chemicals starts working against you. Neither it gives happiness nor it does any action on others. Venting out of frustration is a good for health but if it is repetitive then you are trapped in your emotions. Ultimately you are wasting your energy on something which is not doing any good to you. If you yourself is the cause of your pain then it is a bigger issue. Your complain against yourself will lower your self-esteem and will reinforce your failure every time you remember it. It is a hindrance for your progress.

Try forgiveness. When you forgive , you accept. When you accept then there is no anguish. Your mind will reconcile with the person and clear off all complains. Then for your mind it will be just a incident which can happen. You will be in utter peace if you learn to forgive.

You will not lose anything if you forgive, you will only gain. By forgiving others you will gain your peace. By forgiving yourself you will get your confidence and self-esteem back.

If you do not know how to forgive then just do a simple act. Everyday close your eyes and tell to yourself by remembering the person - I forgive you. And then keep your hand on your heart and say to yourself - I forgive myself.

A simple act can change your life. Try it - Forgiveness is divine!
