Feel Good

Can you force yourself to feel good ? Can you make yourself feel good just telling yourself  to do so? Is it possible to feel good when everything seems to be a mess around you ? Is it so easy to switch on your feel good factors?

 

Now before checking the possibility you must be having question, what is the need to feel good?  You can say - if you are angry then you have the right to yell on others and if you are sad then it is perfectly fine to be sulky. All emotions have their own importance in life.

 

But, if you are in a negative emotion for too long it will start to harm you. Slowly you will get trapped in these negative emotions and it will be a difficult task to come out of it. Slowly it paralyzes your rational thinking.

 

So your focus should be on, how soon you can come out of the negative emotions. Positive emotions play a great role. It makes you more productive, it makes you more likable, it makes your mind better and sharper.

 

If you understand this phenomena then you should try not to get trapped and understand the signals to move on. As soon as you feel you are getting carried away into some negative emotions, induce some feel good factor forcefully. Think about some good events in past which can lift you up, call up your friends and ask them how are they, get up and clean up your room/house, if you play something then pick up that game or sport.

 

Getting involved in any physical activity will take you out of your gloomy state. But you must forcefully do it!  You will not even realize when you are out of your gloomy thought and back with positive and powerful thoughts.
